Welcome

Welcome. I'm starting this blog to chronicle the making of my first record, or CD, or whatever such things are called in today's world of ones and zeros. I hope for all who read this, you will be inspired to comment and critique.

Just a quick musical history: my memory is an unreliable layabout but I'm pretty sure my first inklings of wanting to be a musician were triggered by a record called The Old Chisholm Trail. Corny, I know, but I actually liked the harmonies and the, gulp, accordion (which I tried to learn). Then I heard The Beatles Second Album and realized the error of my ways. I eventually ditched the accordion for the guitar, grew to love the Stones as much or even more than The Beatles and played in bands through high school and a bit after college. Then I got a career and music took a back seat for way too long. Last year, though, I had an accident that has prevented me from working full-time ever since, and in my spare time I've rediscovered music and become somewhat obsessed with finally making a professional sounding record. Hope it works out.

First things first Jeff...you can do this!! Thanks for the link to my site and to my 'record' that was also put on hold for 25 years. Now it's tangible proof that it's never too late.
